I had a little time off today, so I headed down to the Apple HQ, or as I like to call it… The Motherland.
The first time I went down there I was a little disappointed. I expected them to have a visitor center, with maybe a little museum, or a tour or something. But they don’t. You can’t even get through the lobby.
There really is only two reasons to go there… one, so you can tell all of your mac geek friends that you were there… and two, so you can visit The Company Store, which is basically like a regular (small) Apple retail store but they also have Apple branded shirts, hats, mugs, etc…
Every once in a while I go down to get a couple of new t-shirts, when mine get looking a little too ratty. That’s why I was there today. Although, I got a little too excited and came out with 5 of them.
If you are ever in the area, you should stop in, just make sure it’s during the week because The Company Store is only open 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday.
