Hello, my name is Paul Burd. I’m a multimedia designer living in San Francisco, California. This site is my first ‘blog’. Although I am a web designer, I deal mostly with ’static’ sites. I really wanted to learn more about building and maintaining ‘dynamic’ sites. So I thought a blog would be a good way to get my feet wet. It would teach me about setting up a MySQL database, working with php, and formatting with CSS. It has been a wonderful learning experience.

I chose the name ‘one digital life’ because most of my interests involve technology in some way or another. Not to say I don’t have non-technology related interests too, but I am a definitely a geek :) I’m especially interested in anything related to Mac / Apple.

I’m not sure exactly how I will be using this site, or what information I will post. It will most likely be a cross section of personal ramblings, geek talk, and other miscellaneous material.
