Tangle-Free Headphone Wrap
By paul | February 13, 2007
Nice little trick for wrapping your headphones around your iPod. The example uses a first generation shuffle, but it should work for full-size models and nanos too.

FYI, this is probably terrible for your headphones. Those wires are fragile. I won’t be doing this with my e2c buds, that’s for sure.

he should’ve used that little slider on the earphones that keep the earbuds from getting tangled, that would’ve made wrapping a lot easier

That’s great until the wire breaks inside the cord. I’ve been a professional dj for 12 years and therefore would never do this.

I already do this, kind of. I wrap mine up, but not as neaty as in the video.

If you wanted to keep your earphone, without the mp3 player, try this: http://www.sheeptech.com/prevent-tangle
Basically it’s wrapping the cord in an “8″ shape, and when you unwrap it later, it will not be tangled anyhow.
