[...] Finally, after a little more than a month, Bamtastic! is up again. We joined the migrating flock of bloggers, designers, and developers to media temple’s grid server. Is it any better? I have no idea. Some say it’s all hype. The 1-click application installation of wordpress proved to be useless though. It’s installing an old version of wordpress for crying out loud. [...]

[...] The second step was, by far, more confusing than the first step. This is primarily a billing step where they let you chose the type of setup you want. When upgrading they allow you to chose a Lite-version of (gs) for the same price as most people paid for their (ss). One Digital Life has a summary of what it looks like and the difference between (gs) Lite and the regular one. I must say that I was pretty confused and the choices I made was mere guesses rather than confident choices. Reading the post at One Digital Life about the second step of the process makes it a bit clearer. [...]

Well than you was lucky. I was actually lucky with my one domain name out of 4 (yes it was hml) . I got in to trouble and it cost me time and money to fix. Media temple having realy hard time for the past month with the new (gs) servers. They not that dreamy as they sound. Past two weeks its just crazy. I feel like I am working for mt reporting bugs. My one site got totaly crashed after migration. Customer support was not even able to help me, answering to my tickets takes more than 3-4 days. After that email problems than DNS problems. I just don't think this should happen from company like them. I would not recommend to move to new (gs) servers until they not gonna get fix all these problems.
