Speedtest.net allows you to check you internet connection speed by pinging different servers around the world. I’ve seen other sites that do this, but this is definitely the coolest looking one.

  2. It’s technology by a company called Ookla, and there’s something similar on http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest.
