Remember that episode of Star Trek: Voyager where 7 of 9 had to compete in some kind of “mortal kombat” type thing with Duane “The Rock” Johnson?
Lest we forget John Carpenter’s “They Live!” starring “Rowdy” Roddy Piper.
Or “Predator”, with Jesse Ventura… one of the two actors in that movie who later became “governators”.
And how about this one… George “The Animal” Steele played the part of Tor Johnson in the movie “Ed Wood”… Tor Johnson, in fact, was ALSO a wrestler who played in many of Ed’s campy b-movie sci-fi flicks… including “Plan 9 From Outer Space”.
Wrestling and Sci-Fi go way, way back. I’m not saying I want to watch it… but there it is.

Ya, I guess I see your point… at least in the “Fi”. ;)
