i agree with all of you.clone wars is superb.all of the jedi knights’ moves were very cool.that’s all.

P.S.:why do all of you like anakin?i hate him!!

Maddux – I wholeheartedly agree. The writing in Clone Campaigns is excellent – and I really enjoyed seeing Anakin’s character progression. As Star Wars goes, there are a lot of “gaps” in between films, and this was a great way to creatively explore the adventures we’ve never experienced.

The Clone Wars series ran in the couple of years between when Episode II and Episode III were released. As Tim said the first “season” or “volume” or whatever was 20 3 minute shorts with the second being the same total length but broken down into fewer individual episodes. It’s much more entertaining to watch it on DVD where the episode divisions aren’t so obvious and it plays more like a movie. Plus the second volume/season (whatever) ends just as the events in Episode III begin, so it’s really fun to watch them back to back.

I actually find them (volume 2 especially) more entertaining than Episodes I and II. I think they have better writing and show a lot of Anakin’s character progression. Plus the art style is really impressive. The mastermind behind it all is Genndy Tartakovsky, who is responsible for Dexter’s Laboratory as well as the freaking-increadible Samurai Jack, among a few other things. Some of the art in Samurai Jack is just brilliant and I think it’s what earned him the Clone Wars series.

I promise though, that’s all the Cartoon Network I watch…promise!

The first run of the Clone Wars (Vol 1) I found to be a bit jarring, as they were 3 minute shorts. Cartoon Network aired them every weeknight for like 4 weeks from 8:00 to 8:03. Just as something would get going it’d be “To be continued” – luckily when the show was brought back they jumped up to 10 minutes (I think). I agree tho, it is a beautiful show.

Apparently the upcoming StarWars animated show will be similar, but will be a 2D/3D hybrid.

Ohhh – you’ve been missing a gem. The Clone Wars animated series is excellent. Beautifully designed and tales that are masterfully told. Well worth the cost (though I prefer them on DVD).
