Originally, I was just going to say… Check out my breasts… educational, and entertaining’, and leave it at that. But then I decided to take a slightly more serious approach, because it is a serious subject.

The Check Out My Breasts website is the latest initiative by a group called Rethink Breast Cancer:

“Rethink Breast Cancer is a charity helping young people who are concerned about and affected by breast cancer through innovative breast cancer education, research and support programs. Rethink is a national volunteer-driven registered charity with a bold, enterprising and entrepreneurial approach. We are thinking differently about how to beat breast cancer.”

The site takes a very bold, straight forward, and honest approach to education about self breast exams. It’s simple and effective. The design firm did an excellent job. Of course, it didn’t hurt that they used a young, attractive model for the illustration… they are in the business of marketing after all.

If you’re a woman, of any age, you should check out the site. You may find information that you didn’t already know.

If you’re a horny teenage boy, you should go to the site too. It wouldn’t kill you to learn something about the opposite sex… and you get to click on boobies with your mouse… it’s got something for everyone.

  3. Well written story. I appreciated how you covered the obvious entertainment angle of the nudity, while focusing on the very important aspect of the site being about preventing breast cancer. I was impressed as well with the refreshing, progressive and smart direction the design firm took on this serious subject to create what agreeably is the greatest site ever created.
