Steve Jobs’ Wardrobe?

Steve Jobs

Over the last several years, if you were to see Steve Jobs in public, he’d more than likely be wearing his trademark blue-jeans and black mock-turtleneck. I started wondering… is this all he wears? Does he just have a closet full of this stuff, and he wears the same thing every day? Or, is it just for public speaking?

What got me wondering about this is the recent video of Steve addressing the Cupertino City Council, informing them of the new 50 acre campus they’re building. He’s wearing his “work cloths”. Did he just come from the office and he was already wearing this outfit, or did he change for the meeting?

If there are any Apple employees out there who see Steve from time to time, leave a comment and give us the scoop.

I don’t work for Apple but I distinctly remember an interview about him having a closet full of that stuff, but because of that buy what Steve Jobs wears website, I can’t find it. They were made for him in the 1980’s by a fashion designer friend of his.

Maybe I’m wrong, but didn’t Einstein have a closet of the same clothing so he’d never have to think about what to wear everyday? Or was that just some kind of urban legeend? Maybe that’s what Steve is up to with his wardrobe.

I’m not sure about Einstein, but Seth Brundle (Jeff Goldblum) did that in The Fly ;)
