Two Vlogs to check out

Josh Leo and Ask a Ninja

My list of video blogs, or video podcasts as Apple would have you call them, has been slowly growing. Two relatively recent additions are Ask A Ninja and Josh Leo.

Although these two guys seemingly have nothing in common, they are both great in their own way.

The premise of Ask A Ninja, is people write in with questions, and the Ninja answers them. He throws in some Ninja commentary, and then threatens to kill them. I don’t know if that description does it justice, but the show is hilarious. And, although the production may look somewhat simple, he (or they) put a lot of effort into writing and editing, and they are excellent at it.

I can’t tell you exactly why I like Josh Leo. I guess the best way to sum it up is to say he just seems like a really nice guy, who makes interesting short videos about himself and the things around him. He also occasionally makes these wacky short films, like this one entitled Bad and Good Guys. Nicely done Josh.

If you are into video blogs / podcasts, these are both worth a look.

  1. Ask a Ninja is definitely one of the funniest Video Podcasts I’ve seen yet. It sort of takes the charm of Real Ultimate Power (http://www.realultimatepower.net/) to the (really) small screen.

In any case, I look forward to killing you soon!

PS - Paul, how do I get an avatar?

  3. Funny you should ask right now, as I’m in the process of trying to fix some bugs I’m having with them as we speak (or type).

They’re easy to get… just go to http://www.gravatar.com
The size of the image you upload should be 80×80 pixels. (I scale them on my end). When you sign up use the same email address that you typically use to make comments, like the one you used for your comment here. That’s it :)
