Leave me a voice mail

odeo prefs

I’ve added an Odeo link to my sidebar. If you’re unfamiliar with Odeo, it’s a service that allows you to record and share audio over the internet. So feel free to leave me a voice mail telling me what you think of the site, an individual story, or leave me a hot tip.

Using Odeo is free and easy. You don’t have to sign up for an account to leave me a message. But, you do need to have a computer with a microphone, obviously.

If you decide to leave me a message, do me just one favor. Make sure your audio levels are set correctly, so I can actually hear what you are saying. It’s easy… just click the little settings icon in the upper left of the recorder interface, and then click the microphone icon. Now, just speak into your mic while you adjust the volume slider. Make sure you are hitting the top of the yellow, or going a hair into the red… but not to the top of the red. If you do that, the audio will sound distorted.

I look forward to hearing from you.

UPDATE: Laurence, of amacgenius.com, was the very first person to send me a message. Thanks Laurence!
