DropCopy - file transfer made easy

I recently discovered DropCopy. It’s an awesome little utility for transferring files between macs on a local network. DropCopy places a small circle on your desktop that acts as a “drop zone” for other machines. It uses Apple’s Bonjour, formerly known as Rendezvous, so it is incredibly easy and you don’t have to turn on file sharing or mount / unmount other machines. DropyCopy has another great little feature that allows you to grab the contents of another computer’s clipboard. I highly recommend checkin git out.

For personal use, DropCopy is free, and you can set it up on up to three machines. For larger environments you can get a site license for $25.
