Here we go again: Another Apple Event…

Apple will be holding yet another invitation-only event on October 19th. This time in New Your City. Apple doesn’t say exactly what the press conference will be about, but the invitation sent to MacCentral asks to join them as “we unveil Apple’s latest pro innovations.”
Given the word “pro” in the invitation, it’s a good bet they’ll will be announcing pro-level machines (Powermacs + Powerbooks), but given the fact that PhotoPlus Expo is also in New York City, and starts the very next day, I think it’s a better bet we’ll be seeing that Apple PhotoPro software we’ve heard rumors about.

UPDATE (10.17.05): I haven’t been able to find an image of the Apple invitation, but Macworld UK is reporting “The invitation is in black, and features a camera lens”. They are also reporting the event will be held at 12 noon (est) at the Jacob Javits Convention Center.
