SF Temple

A few weeks ago we drove by this structure and had no idea what it was. We were in a hurry and didn’t have time to stop and investigate.

The temple is 40-foot tall and made out of extremely detailed plywood cutouts. It’s by sculptor, David Best, of Burning Man fame.

The sculpture is in Hayes Valley, San Francisco, in a new park where the Central Freeway once loomed. It will be up until mid-September, and then removed.
