New iBooks

As expected, today Apple introduced updated iBooks and Mac mini’s. The new models have faster G4 Power PC processors, upgraded RAM and video cards, larger hard drives, and built in 802.11g and Bluetooth standard.

The one thing missing is the much anticipated, and rumored about, wide-screen iBook that was said to be in the next product cycle. I guess you can’t beleive everything you hear.

The new iBooks rage from $999 to $1299, and the new mini’s come in $499, $599, and $699 variations.

I like the Mac mini upgrade better, it’s more worth it.
