Watering Can

Nicolas le Moigne won this years MACEF Design Award Competition entitled RE-think + RE-cycle with this extremely cool Watering Can.

I was blown away when I saw this. To me, it represents a pinnacle in good design. It’s so simple, yet so elegant. Nicholas saw an existing situation of excess disposable water bottles, and turned it around to fill a need. I’m so impressed!

This reminds me of a quote I once saw..

“A designer knows that he has achieved perfection not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.”

For a long time now I have been thinking about leaving graphic design and getting more in to industrial design. Seeing something like this only serves to inspire me. Well Done Nicholas!
